Kirk Douglas Bronze Portrait Bust

Mr. Douglas posed for this in 1947 while filming the movie The Champion. The original plaster cast has been shown at artist exhibitions. A bronze was cast from this original using the lost wax process. It is 22" high, 25" long, 16" deep and weighs 97 lbs. It has a deep golden bronze patina with a black base. It is a limited edition of only one.

This spectacular bronze remained in the personal collection of the artist until his death in September, 2004.
